WHAT THE (BEEP)!!!! I am so PIST OFF about this!!!! Adam has more talent then Kris will ever have. I guess there are some people who just don't know good music when they hear it. So basically, American Idol has another Taylor Hicks as a winner...who we will not hear of or from for a few years. His album won't even sell as well as Adam's would have! Adam should have won!

To me, Adam is the winner!!! He's going to get a record deal very soon...maybe even by tomorrow evening. When he does and comes out with an album...his record will sell much more then Kris's ever will!!!

Oh I know he will sell more albums. I am done with AI forever now, I wasn't going to watch this year, I thought after David no one would ever be close to that good. My taste is Adam more then David so i was proven wrong.
But Now I know its fixed, and this isn't Kris's fault so before I get heat for saying this its not him, its the media and the damn world of change.

I am more mad that they didnt sign him tonight. I am so upset, I am a west coastie and I am not watching tonight, I can't I am done with this damn show.

Adam will go much further and be a real rockstar Kris will do ok, but I know he will be better and last longer then Kris.

This is BULLCRAP!!!! I am pissed that Adam didn't win, Kris was good and deserved 2nd place but Adam deserved the win. Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh I am so pissed off right now!!!

Adam deserves to win and everyone knows that. Kris is nice but not as talented
and would have earned his second place.
But hey don't think Adam's career is over - it's just beginning. Hopefully he will do
what Clay did and break away from Idol as quickly as possible.

I agree that Adam's album will outsell Kris's... PHENOMENALLY. It pisses me off that the same bunch of hypocrites who judge Adam according to his sexuality will be shaking their booty to Adam Lambert tunes.. CAUSE ADAM IS JUST THAT GOOD!!!!

Did you notice that the camera never went to Simon after Kris was announced the winner....One time when they were showing Paula as Kris was performing, you can see Simon on the side of the screen, he looks away from the stage as Kris is performing and has a very pissed off look on his face.

Simon's contract ends next season, but I have a feeling he will get out of the contract and not come back. I think he has been disappointed in the past with some of the winners. He has wanted to bring his British show "X Factor" to the US, but could not because of his contract with FOX. "X Factor" was the show that American Idol was patterned after.

Adam has the backing of so many people in the industry. KISS would not have performed with Kris. Sorry, but they would not have. Adam fit right in and sang great.

When Adam and Kris performed with Queen, Adam was in his element, Kris just looked and sounded out of place.

The producers of Idol had said before the show that both Kris and Adam would be signed to the record label.

Adam not winning did not cost him anything. There is no price money for winning, just a record deal, which Adam will also get. Adam will most likely be offered more money because he does not have to sign with them, Kris does.





I agree. Clay should have won, but because some people vote against someone because of who they may sleep with, he did not win.

He left Idol and became a much bigger star than Reuben, who got dropped from his record label not long after winning Idol.

I think the whole wide world is shocked and mad right now. Adam really deserved to win Idol, I just hated how they made it seem Adam was gonna win and ALL OF SUDDEN, Kris's is the winner. That what keeps me mad.

I don't know what to say... America really got it wrong this year... for the longest time I didn't care if Adam won or not because I knew he'd still be great. but the past few weeks I started to care a lot because Adam deserved this more than anyone else. So this this is the second year in a row that my favorite person lost but I'm not going to stop watching Idol because of that, if I had stopped after Archuleta lost last year I never would have seen Adam so I'm glad I watched this year. Its ok though, Adam will be amazing. People will look back and think of him as the Daughtry of season 8, the guy that should have won, but didn't and still sold more albums that the winner. It just sucks because I could tell Adam really wanted to win

Hey guys, I just made an account to voice my opinion.
I am not done with American Idol, but I am frustrated with America right now, because the people voted against Adam because of his sexuality. American Idol brought us David Cook and Adam Lambert, the show is not at fault. The people who still can't get over weather a person is gay or straight is at fault. I thought we were over this, but apparently we are not. I know Adam Lambert is going to go very far in life, go Adam!
Still, America was given a challenge to see weather we are over pity differences, and it appears we failed that test. We still have a long way to go people, for Adam!
Don't blame Kris Allen, don't blame American Idol. Be happy for Kris, he's a good guy. Be happy for AI, they bring jewels like Adam and David to the whole world to see.
Anyway, that's my two cents

BUT ANYWAY ALL I'M SAYIN IS:.. ADAM IS MY REAL AMERICAN IDOL!!!!!!

I don't blame Kris nor do I dislike him, but the only thing I do blame and despise are the people who probably only voted just to have Adam lose (Not counting VFTW).

I know this won't stop me from watching AI because there are always undiscovered people out there, but if there's a next year, I might only watch it for the auditions. The last AI I got into this much was the first season, every season after that just never caught my attention, don't know why, but probably 'cause they all seemed like a repeat with the same winners.

If it wasn't for Adam, this season wouldn't even be worthy to remember.
Thanks to Mr. Lambert, this season of him will forever be engraved in my memory. But, The only thing that ruins that is the moment that should've been Adam's, instead of righteous victory, he was humiliated!

Now the only thing more annoying than this episode are all the people who'll never let this moment go!

But, if we look at AI as a talent discovery show rather than a talent contest to win by people's votes (and ignorant voters), this doesn't change the obvious fact that Adam's the most talented this season and has been discovered, which is all you really need from AI to gain a long-term career anyway.

Adam will succeed, and whether or not Kris is forgotten like the past "winners" doesnt matter, but I do hope for people like him the best because he's a nice guy with talent who might've not deserved to win AI, but still deserves some kind of career after AI.

I don't blam anyone...I'm just angry that Adam didn't win!!

When Ryan announced that Kris won, I went into a state of shock. I could not believe what was happening before my eyes. I watched as Kris went into shock "Adam deserved this!!" and I watched as Simon didn't even applaud Kris. I slowly went to my room and I called all my friends to express our sorrow. My friends would later tell me that they have never heard me sound so depressed in my life. I cried myself to sleep that night. I could not believe America had let this happen.

I spent the next two days in complete hatred. Hatred at America for voting for the underdog, Hatred at (I hate to write this down now) Kris for being so darn good-looking and shy and humble that made those people vote for him, and hatred at American Idol for being rigged (which I kinda still believe now). Anyway, I also was a little mad at God for letting this happen (Yes, I prayed for three straight weeks to God to let Adam win). Putting this flat out...I was a sour grape.

Then I tried to be optimistic. My friends were getting bugged by my attitude. I mean, at some point you need to move on. I came to realize that...

1) Adam didn't need the title of American idol. He already is international and half the world is going to be buying his records this year, next year, the yea after that, the year after that.....

2) He doesn't have to be stuck w/ American Idol for a year, following their orders to what to sing and how to sing it. He is open to whatever he wants to do.

3) Fans will continue to be fans. Just because he lost doesn't mean he's going to fade away (which he absolutely isn't).

4) Remember Daughtry???!!!!!

So yeah. Today I am still a little peeved that America can't just see the talent of a person and not look at their sexuality and clothes and like them. But I know that Adam will do well for a very long time.

Congrats to Kris for winning, but I truly believe Kris isn't going to be around as long as Adam/Mr. Sexy-Perfect-Amazing-Singer.

(Just in case you didn't notice, I'M IN LOVE W/ ADAM!!!!!!!!!!)

Don't let his lose continue to let you down a week from the finale. My last words of advice are......

Move on, love Adam, and say the Adam Prayer...
